The DD508 is our newest model in the Medeli digital drum collection. It is designed for all drummers, professionals and students, and can be used at home, in the studio or on stage.

The new design of the DD508 ensures that you are complete up to date with this new drumkit. Naturally the DD508 is the perfect instrument to study at home because you can play without making any noise and disturbing the neighbours.

The pad- and cymbal setup is similar like an acoustic drumkit. There are 4 tom/snarepads, 3 cymbalpads, a kickpad and hihatcontroller. The same setup as you have when playing an acoustic drumkit. But there is more.

700 Drum- and percussionsounds are combined in 99 drumkits which garantuee maximum flexibility in playing your favorite music styles and genres wether it’s Latin, Jazz, Electro, Drum & Bass or Rock music.

On and SD card yopu can store your own recorded songs and userkits. The DD508 can be connected with other MIDi instruments or a computer using the MIDI in/out or USB connections.

The DD508 offers 40 pre-programmed Drumsets and has the possibility to store 59 of your own kits with freely assignable sounds, volumes, effects and other parameters.

The onboard sequencer has already 120 stored songs which can be used for practicing your own rhythms and techniques. Beyond that 100 user songs can be stored in it’s memory with all nuances and parameters. In order to obtain the most natural sound as possible the DD508 has even and integrated hall reverbeffect and a 4-band master EQ.

The DD508 has so-called ‘multi zone’ pads. Different sounds can be played when hitting the centre or the edge of a pad. Rimshots, hand-stopped cymbals and accents on the cymbal are no longer a problem, the DD508 has it all, even ‘double bass patterns’ can be played on the DD508 when using an optional double bassdrum pedal.
